This morning we woke up to a wonderful surprise! The Elves had invited us to eat at their own “Elf Cafe”. They had a menu all printed up for us to choose what we wanted to eat- except…the only option available for us was Mrs. Claus’ pancakes. The Elves said they wanted to do something nice for us since we had visitors, but they weren’t the Elves that worked with Mrs. Claus in the bakery. So they tried to get some other Elves to help. Unfortunately these Elves were still too small to be of much help so they left us instructions on how to help them “grow”.
Then, when I went to make pancakes for everyone this morning the Elves surely did leave the magical pancake recipe from the North Pole because the pancakes all turned out GREEN! At first we weren’t sure we really wanted to eat them, but Sam was brave enough and said he’d try one first. They actually turned out to be pretty delicious.
